THE DINNER WITH GRADE 12

On dec 30th, we went to the restaurant and has a dinner with grade 12. the restaurant’s name is Tacos. It is a western food restaurant. Jolin and I went there first of our group. When we arrived, there has two seniors wait for us. They are Jack and James. We has a dinner in a small room. I like this feeling, it makes me feel warm.

After we arrived later, other students were coming. The seniors of our group is Alice,Jack and Flicia. There has aother group has a dinner with our group. Our group has Jolin, Jack, Cindy, Bill and I. We total have eleven people. We sit very nearly, because it do not have more space to sit. Before all the people arrived, we just talking and talking. I think yhe seniors are very kind. They has many jokes.

It is time to order dishes. Jolin, Cindy and I ordered a pizza together. Beside us, the four boys ordered two pizzas. The other people most to ordered the beefsteaks. Before the food was coming. We still talking. I think the seniors were very funny. They has many topics can talking. I saw they has a magic cube, it is not a cube, it is round. When I saw it, I just think it is very difficult to play.
When the food were coming, we has to eat it. The tastes is not bad, it’s ok. We let Jack to take pictures for us. And our three people eat it quickly. The pizza is small, it just have nine-size, but we all was full. When we eating, the seniors always talking and joking. We always laughing togrther.
I think this dinner is great, we are not feel bored. We all have the fun with the dinner. Ilike this dinner.

WU WEISHAN'S EXHIBITION

On Dec 4th, we went to the art museum. The artist name is Wu weishan, he is a famous artist. He were won many prizes. The name of his exhibition is “The workroom nof Wu weishan”. He shows that the art is made by the soil or bronze or white marble to make different clay figurine. These art works are made by himself and it has the tranditional art work, but also has the contemporary. It shows the different feelings.

Now, I will introduce an artwork for you. The name of the artwork is “Sleeping baby”. The “Sleeping baby” is that Wu weishan saw the baby is very lovely and the sleeping face is very innocent. So, he use the soil to make a “Sleeping baby”. The “Sleeping baby” just has a face, a round head, eyes, nose and mouth. It lines are circle the eyes were closed and the mouth has a little open.

The artwork makes me feel comfoetable, even it just has a mouth, nose and eyes, but the facial expression is very calm and innocent. This artwork makes me think that baby must lovely and paceful, make people like him. I never to seen some artwork like this. This is my first time to see this pretty work. This artwork represent that baby is very paceful, is the most innocent baby in the world, no one can hurt him. The artist not have any othe intentions, just want to make a sculpture of the baby.

I like this artwork, because this makes me feel happiness and comfortable. When I see the face, t think “What a pretty face!”. I think it is not have the specific things, just a face make people like it. It is a innocent that the people not feeling a long time. So, it make me feel comfortable. I think the other people also appreciate this artwork, because no one will do not like the face of the baby. Everyone like the baby, they are all like the comfortable feelings. So they will enjoy this artwork.
